With 23 years of nursing experience as an educator, clinician, and patient advocate, I have a great understanding and appreciation of what it takes to truly transform best practices in healthcare and the energy to lead and motivate others in pursuit of their personal, professional, and academic goals.
I have a deep passion for learning (climbing the ladder as an LVN, ADN, BSN, MSN, and DNP) and as a lifelong learner, I realized that intelligence is not the only way to guarantee success - it's your drive, self-reliance, perseverance, courage, and humility. It is impossible to know everything but possible to recognize and admit what you do not know and allow for self-development.
People who come together and work towards a common goal because they believe in something, support something and want to create positive change - these are things I want to be a part of.
