In the wake of the LA fires, our PNACOC family demonstrated remarkable generosity and solidarity. Following our January 13 appeal, we successfully delivered a truckload of in-kind donations to Glendale and raised $800 in financial support last January 20th. This effort, in collaboration with PNA Southern California (PNASC), was led by our dedicated community outreach chair, Dr. Maribeth McKinney.
The donated funds have been endorsed to the PNASC LA Fire Relief Fund, benefiting the LA Fire Department Foundation, the American Red Cross, and the Pasadena Humane Society. Special thanks to our members Roneth Bersalona, Arlene Rivera, and Arlene Obbus for mobilizing donations, as well as Dr. McKinney and Melanie Severino for ensuring the safe delivery of goods.
As we continue our journey towards greater resilience, may this act of kindness inspire us to further our mission of community service and outreach.
